The area of the chianti Classico D.O.C. winwe, in the Florentine country include the territory of Barberino Val d´Elsa, Grevew, S. Casciano e Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. The name have its source on the "Leauge of the Chianti", established from the Florentine Republic opposite a Siena, in the XVIth century. The great reputation of Chianti Wine (brillant red-coloured wine from an intense bouquet) trace back to the XVIth century and it had a quick diffusion in the half of ´700. But Chianti is not only wine; it is also history, art and modern industries.
